LEGO prices in Algeria: what goes into the price of a box

“LEGO price Algeria” is one of the most frequent searches that bring people to our shop. The question behind it is simple: why that price? Here, plainly, is what goes into the price of a LEGO box sold in Algeria, and how to compare two offers.
There is no official local distribution
LEGO boxes sold in Algeria arrive through resellers who buy them abroad. Ours are bought new from retailers in Dubai, at or near retail price, then carried in our luggage. So the purchase price is already a shop’s price, not a wholesaler’s.
The trip counts, especially for big boxes
A large display box takes the space of several small ones in a suitcase, and both weight and volume cost money. That is why, at the same purchase price, a bulky box costs more to bring over than a small dense one.
Box size does not tell everything
Two boxes of the same size can have very different prices. Piece count, special pieces and licences matter: a motorcycle or car that reproduces a real manufacturer’s model carries a licence, reflected in the price set by the manufacturer.
What our price includes
The price on each product page is in dinars, tax included, and does not change at delivery. Home delivery to all 69 wilayas is added to the total, except from 7,500 DA of items, where it is free. You pay on delivery, after looking at the box.
How to compare two offers
Compare the same set number, printed on the box; check that the box is new and closed; ask whether delivery is included; and be wary of a crossed-out price with no source. We do not show an invented “reference price”: the price is what you pay.
