Who processes your data
The seller identified in our terms of sale, operator of mawaddeh.com, processes your data under Law no. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data.
What we collect
For an order: your name, your phone number, your wilaya, your commune, your delivery address, the order detail and its status history. Your email address is only asked for if you want messages by email: it stays optional.
When you write to us, we keep your message and the contact details you leave in it. One-time confirmation codes are not kept: they expire on their own.
During your visit, audience-measurement and advertising tools record the pages viewed and the products added to the cart. They are on by default; the banner shown on the site lets you refuse them at any time, and your refusal is recorded with your order.
Why we use it
To prepare and deliver your order, call you before dispatch, reach you if the courier cannot find you, answer your questions and keep our accounts. Your phone number is the key to your orders: it is what finds your history again.
To measure which pages and which ads lead to an order, unless you refused it in the banner. Our news is sent to you, by SMS or email, only if you asked for it by ticking the box provided; you can stop at any time.
Who receives it
The delivery company that carries your parcel receives your name, your phone number and your address, to deliver to you and nothing else. The list of our delivery partners is available on request.
The services that let us reach you — phone messages, email — receive your contact details to carry the message. Our advertising partners receive hashed identifiers only, and only if you have not refused audience measurement.
Where it is kept
The site is hosted in Algeria: the site and your data (orders, account) are stored on servers located in Algeria. The SMS provider is Algerian.
How long we keep it
Orders, their lines, their status history and the settlements are business records: they are not purged on a schedule. Abandoned carts are deleted 6 months after their last update, and messages received through the Contact page 12 months after they have been handled. Administration logs are kept 2 years. Confirmation codes expire on their own.
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time, from your account: your orders stay in our accounts.
Your rights
You can look at, correct or delete your data, refuse audience measurement from the banner, and withdraw your agreement to commercial messages, from your account or from the Contact page. Withdrawing agreement never affects messages about an order in progress.
What still has to be verified
This policy describes the processing as it happens today. The declaration required by Law no. 18-07 and the practice of the national data protection authority will be checked by the shop’s owner; the date of that check will be recorded here.
Contact
Any question about your data is asked from the Contact page; a precise request can carry your order number so it reaches the right file.
