Terms of sale

These terms govern the sales concluded on mawaddeh.com. They describe what you buy, how you pay for it, how it is delivered to you, and which rights you keep when something goes wrong.

The items offered are new toys and games, in their closed original box: construction sets, die-cast vehicles, board games, puzzles and baby toys. We buy them new from retailers in Dubai and bring them to Algeria. Every product page names the brand, the set reference when it is known, the age stated by the manufacturer and what the box contains.

LEGO, Hot Wheels, Hasbro, Bright Starts, Oball, Slinky, Imagimake and the other brands named belong to their respective owners. mawaddeh.com is an independent reseller: it is not affiliated with, appointed by or endorsed by those brands. Their names appear because they are printed on the box you receive.

You choose your items, you give your name, your phone number, your wilaya, your commune and your address, then you confirm. A confirmation code is sent by SMS to your phone. We then call you before the parcel is prepared: that is the confirmation call, and it is what fixes the delivery.

The order number you are given when the order is recorded is your reference: it opens the tracking page and is enough for any question.

If an item you ordered is no longer available, we tell you during the confirmation call, before anything is sent: you then choose to keep the rest of the order or to cancel it. Nothing has been collected from you at that point.

Prices are shown in Algerian dinars, tax included. The order total — items, delivery, and gift wrap if you choose it — is shown before you confirm and does not change between confirmation and delivery.

Delivery costs 400 DA to the wilaya of Algiers and 600 DA to the other wilayas; it is free from 7,500 DA of items. It is shown before you confirm.

Payment is made in cash only, into the courier’s hands, when the parcel is handed over. No online payment, no advance, no transfer and no deposit is asked for, at any point.

You may open the parcel and check the box in front of the courier before paying. The courier cannot make change below 50 DA: have the exact amount shown on your order ready.

Delivery is to your door, in all 69 wilayas, at the address and commune given when ordering; there is no agency pickup. The parcel is prepared after the confirmation call, within 1 working day, then delivery takes 2 to 5 working days to the north and a few more days to the far south. Working days exclude Friday, Saturday and public holidays.

The courier calls you before coming. He works for a partner delivery company and may introduce himself under his own company’s name. If he cannot reach you, we contact you again before any cancellation.

As long as the order has not been dispatched, you can cancel it from the tracking page with your order number, or by writing to us. After dispatch, you can refuse the parcel at delivery, or accept it and exercise the return rights described below.

Warranties and returns fall under three texts: Law no. 18-05 of 10 May 2018 on e-commerce, article 23, for faulty or non-conforming items; Law no. 09-03 of 25 February 2009 on consumer protection and fraud prevention, article 13, for the legal warranty on appliances, instruments and tools; and Executive Decree no. 13-327 of 26 September 2013, which puts it into effect.

Nothing in these terms reduces or removes the legal warranty, or your rights for faulty or non-conforming items. The length and the terms of those rights are stated on each product page and in our return policy.

The dimensions, weights and piece counts shown on product pages are values given by the manufacturer or the retailer, not measured by us; they are indicative. The photographs are the manufacturer’s or the retailer’s own, or have been made from them. A manufacturer sometimes renews the packaging of the same item: the box you receive may then differ slightly from the photograph, for the same contents.

The age shown on each product page is the one the manufacturer prints on the box. Also read the manufacturer’s warnings printed on the packaging before giving a toy to a young child.

The data collected when you order is used to prepare the order, deliver it, reach you and answer your questions. The privacy policy states what is collected, why, where it travels and how long it is kept.
